Create route

Unisphere uses PowerMax Cloud Mobility functionality to enable you to move snapshots off the storage system and on to the cloud.

About this task

This procedure explains how to create a route:

Steps

  1. Select a storage system.
  2. Select System > Cloud.
    The Cloud Mobility Dashboard is displayed.
  3. In the Cloud System pane, click > Network Configuration.
  4. Click ROUTES.
  5. Click Create.
    The Create Cloud Route dialog box is displayed.
  6. Select the Interface or team to which you want to create the route.
  7. Type the Gateway IP address for the route.
  8. Optional: Type the Netmask Length, which is the outward data path netmask prefix for the route. If no value is specified, - is used.
  9. Optional: Type the Destination IP address for the route. If no value is specified, default is used. The default value can be used only for one route.
  10. Click OK.
